Juanita--It would take too long to explain here but David "Dart" Waters was married to my Mother's great aunt. I don't know why people keep trying to change it to Walters.
I can't tell you anything about the Waters but i do know a little about his wife Emmeline Catharine Moore. Did he remarry after she died in 1906. It's hard for me to beleive that she was 13 years older than him.
I have been to the cemetary. She was born in 1852 and his headstone says 1865. Do you think that they meant to put 1856? That would be a little more beleiveable. Did they make death certificates that far back. I haven't
sent for one in a long time but I thought they started in the 1930's. It's a shame that someone wrote in that book that his name was
WALTERS. Mother told me it was Waters before I ever went to the cemetary.
Good Luck-A cousin
however distant--Bev
