I am researching my family roots. My great grandfather, Dave Anderson Russell, Sr., was born in 1854 and married to his 1st wife ___?___. They had 3 children: James S. Russell, Larkin A. "Dock" Russell (married to Jessie Swift) and Dave Anderson Russell, Jr. (my grandfather)(married to Lizzie Hale). Dave, Sr. then married Martha Ella ___?___ and they had 3 children: Nancy D. "Fannie" Russell (married to Allen McKenzie), James A. Russell (who died as a child), and William B. Russell (who died as an infant).
I just found the information about where Nancy is buried. She's in the Old Winnsboro Cemetery in Franklin Parish. I am trying to locate all my relatives and especially trying to find out who Dave, Sr. first wife is. They had to have been married sometime around 1867 - 1875, maybe. In 1874 he would have been 20. I really don't know. If anyone can help, that would be great.
