My DUNHAM ancestors lived near Crowville, in what was called Warsaw Community. There was a Warsaw landing there where steamboats stopped. My gg-grandfather used to get on the boat there and go to New Orleans once a year to buy household supplies. I have a photo of a steamboat that came to me from my grannie's estate. I believe the picture was taken at Warsaw landing.

My ancestors, Andrew Dunham and Mary Ann McVoy Dunham are buried at Warsaw, in a small family cemetery with a few other family members. The farmer that owned the land drug the tombtones into the woodline many years ago and plowed the cemetery under.

Good luck

Mark Hadley
