I would love to make contact with anyone researching this family. I have found Franklin in the E Feliciana census taken 27 Aug 1860:
1860 E Feliciana pg 10 6th ward 27 Aug 1860
62/67 Brown, Franklin carpenter 29 LA
Idell 26 f La
Mary 7 f
N. G. 4 f

Eliz 1f
nabors Wm L. Brown age 50 fm VA and wf Mary A. 50y LA and Cynthia Sherrod 10f LA.
I cannot find Franklin and family in the 1870 but I sure would love to because I need to know the rest of his children. I know there is Louis Madison forn about 1862, but I am wondering if an Amanda C. Brown born abt 1862 can be his daughter?
I have the descendents of Louis Madison Brown and other info...to swap.
