I don't know if the Says were in what became East or West Feliciana, but you will find "SaY' in Feliciana Parish, LA as early as 1802, per AMERICAN STATE PAPERS. From this site: http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/amlaw/lwsplink.html first click on Series "Public Lands" under "Index" click on "searchable text." After it loads, do a search for "Say" You can then click on the page number and it will go to the page. I usually right click, and then "save target as" so that I can orient the pages and read them. You will find the following in Vol. 3, Public Lands....most of them were in Feliciana Parish. Adam Say p. 391 James Say pp. 59, 204 John Say pp. 38, 204, 391 John Say, Jr. pp. 52, 188 P. and Thomas Say p. 60 Good Luck. Tarney Smith My Feliciana Parish ancestors are Carr and Sandifer, ca 1811, 1812...they were in what became East Feliciana Parish. Notify Administrator about this message?
