Herrins in E. Carroll PA

I am tracing my ancestors, and am trying to solve a mystery(who isn't?). My great great grandfather was John Dehart, the son of Wynant Dehart. John married a woman named Mary in Louisiana. I thougth it was Ouchita Parish, but it may have been East Carroll. My relatives have believed she was Mary Bassinet/Bazzinet, but I have found an old handwritten list of people in John Dehart's bible that would lead me to believe that the Mary was Mary Commander Herrin. I am looking for information on the Herrins. Also, I found that a Luther C. Dehart voted in East Carroll Parish in 1878, and married a Nancy Davidson in 1885 there as well. This Luther is the son of John, I am almost positive, because the year he was born was 1851, and he was born in Texas.

I would appreciate any information anyone has on the Herrins of this Parish.
