WW II German P.O.W. Camp near Mansfield

Some time toward the end of and probably for some time after World War II I believe there was a German prison camp (possibly a satellite POW camp of then Camp Polk) located just east of Mansfield out Pleasant Hill Road.

I can find no record(s) of such a camp on the internet but recall visiting it when I was very young.

Do any of you recall that camp and can you tell me the approximate location and/or any details of the camp?
