Looking for families of John Holmes and William Holmes-born in Georgia

I am doing some research for some Holmes cousins in Texas. Their great grandfather, James William Holmes was living in DeSoto Parish in 1860 in the Mansfield area. He was son of John Holmes. He married a Sarah-believed to be Sarah Ogilvie-his cousin according to my cousins. I have traced John Holmes and brother William back to Oglethorpe County, Georgia in 1850 by census record. They may have had a brother, Robert who also lived in the same area in 1860-Mansfield and Keachie by 1870 and 1880. Would like to exchange info with any descendants as you have some Texas cousins who don't have any Holmes cousins left that they know of.

James William Holmes and wife Sarah left Louisiana before 1880 and were living in Comanche County, Texas in 1880. By 1900, they were living in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, where James William Holmes died in 1904.
