Mary Ann WILLIAMS, b. abt. 1839 in Yazoo Co., MS was a daughter of John Hiram & Mahala (Singletary) WILLIAMS. Her dad was born in VA and her mom in ??? . Her dad owned land in Yazoo Co., MS in 1839 and that is why I suspect that she was born in Yazoo Co., MS.
Her family migrated to DeSoto Parish, LA in the early 1840's and the 8th Child of John & Mahala WILLIAMS was born in DeSoto Parish, LA on 14-Dec-1841 (Louisa Tennessee WILLIAMS).
Who did Mary Ann marry ? What are the details of his family ? Did they have any Children, and if so, who were they ? Did they stay in DeSoto Parish, LA or did they move somewhere else, and if so, where ? And any other details that are important?
