It's been 11 years since you made that post, so I hope you are still there. My name is Phillip Bowen, and I am the great grandson of Lyman Wallace, who was the son of Fannie Butler and Newt Wallace. Newt was born in 1876 (supposedly in Arkansas) and died in Claiborne sometime in 1910. He only had two children that have living descendants to my knowledge; Jane Triplet and Lyman Wallace. There are other Wallace's in Claiborne Parish around the same time and it is my hope that we might be able to track down where they came from.

I have been doing research for several years and would very much like to get in touch with other Wallace descendants from the Claiborne area.
