Archibald Smith, born 1755 in Robeson County, NC, moved early to Union Church,Jefferson County, MS, where his first wife, Sarah Buie, died in childbirth in 1820. He married 2nd Elizabeth Anding 1820 in Franklin County, MS. Archibald, Elizabeth and children are on the 1850 Claiborne Parish, LA Federal Census, but can't find them anywhere afterwards. Some say she died 1853 and he died 1854, but where? Others say he died 1866 in Jefferson County, MS or Robeson County, NC. Have extensive records and will exchange for help.
