John Miller murdered 1921 in Claiborne Parish LA

Can anyone help me find something on the following homicide that happened in Homer, Louisiana in Claiborne Parish LA on January 9, 1921? The death certificate of John Miller says he was killed by another man while working in a restaurant. Information is needed...did Claiborne Parish (Homer) have a newspaper back then in which it might have been published? Have been unable to find the incident in other newspapers published in near by towns. The name of the person who did the killing is not known. Any help appreciated. The death certificate says John Miller was about 27 years old at the time of his death. Bobbie
