Ed, we're almost in real time here!

Thanks for the info on Creed. I'll keep an eye out for Eliza Thompson in my cemetery searches in Claiborne, also. I hope to be there sometime in August.

Judith is supposedly buried at Coal Springs cemetery in Claiborne parish. I have a photo of a marker, but it is appears to be newer than one would expect for an 1872 death. I suspect it was added much later and may be a memorial rather than an actual grave marker. Another reason I suspect it to be a much later addition - it lists the date of death as a rather uncertain "Summer of 1872."

When is Creed's date of birth? Judith was born 1795, according to that marker.

I find the names interesting. My Judith's name was Judith Eliza Thompson. She named a daughter Eliza Ann. Her sons had rather unusual names - Thornton, Morgan, Wiley, Hudson, and Daniel Washington who went by "Wash." Also daughters Emily, Mary Ann, and Judith Frances. Any similarities?

Do you have a place of birth for Creed?
