A cousin found what we believe to be her family in some old LA records. James Murphy (Murphey) and Delaney Franks had the following children: Martha; Alexander; Mourning; James Murphy, Jr.; John; Caroline; Nancy, and William. The birth date would match Mourning (about 1819). Mourning married Alford Garner about 1834. Her sister Martha also married a Garner, who we believe were brothers or cousins. Please let me know if you have any other information.
