Jordan and Angeline Morris lived in Panola Co MS from 1849-1859, were in Claiborne Par LA 1860 and disappeared after that. Morris descendants reappear in Claiborne Par 1880.
Jordan/Jourdan Morris m Angeline Pace 13 November 1834 Henry Co. They were b in GA ca 1810 and 1815. I am trying to identify parents for both. My most likely candidates for Angeline Pace are Basil Pace/ Claracy Shepard (about the right age, in the right vicinity and Claracy had a brother Nathan Shepard who ended up in Claiborne Par, LA where Jordan and Angeline lived) or possibly Leroy Pace, son of Barnabus. For Jordan Morris, I suspect he is a descendent of Haten Morris who had son named Jordan, but Chesley Morris was in the right place and is about the right age.
