Kevin,

The Adkins line in the Adkins Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, came from VA, SC, GA, to Louisiana. They arrived in LA in about 1852. I know of none of this line that were born in New Orleans. Claiborne Parish is in north Louisiana and of course you know where New Orleans is....way down south.
