Dixon, Zilpha/Jesse Pugh - seeking info

I am searching for the connection to the next generation. I know nothing about my Zilpha's family or where they came from other than her possible POB from the Census.

Zilpha Mae Dixon, 1824 NC/Tenn, 1850 Louisiana, 1870 - 1902 Texas

My great-great grandmother was Zilpha Mae Dixon, born 4 Apr 1824, North Carolina, died 29 Mar 1902, Burns City, Cooke
County, TX.

Married Jesse Pugh 27 May 1842, Madison County, Tennessee.

They had three sons:
J. P. Pugh, 9 May 1843 - 9 Oct 1844
John Pugh, 4 Nov 1844 - 11 Sep 1846
Richard Pugh, 9 May - 12 Aug 1877 (probably died in Texas)

Their daughter was my great grandmother:
Mary (Mollie) M. Pugh, 8 Nov 1851 in Louisiana; died 13 Jul 1890 Burns City, Cooke County, Texas.

Jesse and Zilpha were in Claiborne Parish from about 1849/50 to 1860. The Census also show families for Joel and Willoughby Pugh living in Claiborne Parish. I believe they may be Jesse Pugh's brothers who migrated with Zilpha and Jesse to Louisiana, and later to Brazos County Texas. I have yet to find the same type of connection to Zilpha's family.

Unfortunately, the above is the sum total of what I know of my Dixon family line. Would appreciate any information you might
have.

Thanks -- Karen Kiernan
