Taylors and Clarks in Catahoula Parish

I am researching information on Lee Taylor and Regena Clark born about 1868 in Catahoula Parish. I believe the town of Jena was named after Regena. Their daughter was my husband's gggrandmother. I have been told that Lee Taylor was a prominent businessman and died at an early age. His wife Regena married a George Miller and he squandered her fortune leaving her and her daughters penniless. Any information would be helpful.
