A. D. Ratcliff, b. 1805 NC

I am trying to find anyone who knows the parents and children of A. D. Ratcliff who shows in the 1840 and 1850 Catahoula Parish Census, then the 1860 Census in Concordia Parish, then the 1870 and 1880 Census in Chicot County, Arkansas. See the following data.

I am trying to identify specifically the son T.W. shown in the 1850 Catahoula Census as 9 years old, born in 1841.

We are trying to find the right Ratcliff father for William Thomas Ratcliff, b. 1841, who served in Confederate army from Catahoula, and who married Miranda Dunn in 1866. We have ruled out several possibilities and now are thinking that the T.W. son of A.D. might be our William Thomas (it is not unheard of for a census taker to transpose initials or names!!!).

Any help on the Ratcliff family of Catahoula Parish from 1830-1880 would be greatly appreciated!!
