Hemphill Creek where is it?

The "Historical and Statistical Collections of Louisiana. Parish of Catahoula; DeBow's Review Vol 12, 1852" is quoted on the Catahoula website as talking about Hemphill Creek.

It doesn't appear when searched for on the BLM Place Names site.

Anyone know where it is?
Jerry
