NEED HELP!!!
In our ESTES line we have, James ESTES(S)first wife as Doll BOYD. We have NOTHING on Doll. Don't know if "DOLL" was her name or a nickname. I'm assuming it was her real given name. James ESTES(S) was born circa 1818, son of Ezra ESTES(S) and Elizabeth RYALS. James married Mary Ann MEREIDTH 4 April 1863,and they had children also. James and Mary Ann are on the 1870 Caldwell Parish, Louisiana Census.
Were there any BOYD families living in Caldwell Parish around 1840 - 1860?
Any information would be a big help! Thanks!!!
