STRINGER FAMILY of CLARKS, CALDWELL CO.,

Looking for STRINGER family: JAMES, wife ROSE, ch.TONIE and THELMA STRINGER (poss. other children) of CLARKS, CALDWELL PARISH, LA. James probably worked for the LUMBER CO., originally in CARTER CO., MO, where Tonie was b.9/19/1899
Rose sold the house in Clarks after Sept, 1958 to a Mr. STAMPER and then moved to TEXAS to live with Thelma. Have letter written by Rose ca.1958 in which she says that there is no more family left in Clarks/Louisiana area, 7 of her family are buried there, and 'Dad's' mother (poss her husband or father) and his baby brother as well as two of her sister's husbands. Have been unable to locate graves/obits as yet as I don't know Rose's maiden name or birthplace/date. TONIE joined Army at JACKSON BARRACKS in 1917 at age 17 and served on Mexican Border and in WWI. He was in CO.I, 26th Infantry, First Division (Big Red One) continuously from enlistment to his death in 1931 at age 31 at PLATTSBURGH BARRACKS, CLINTON CO., NY. He married my Grandmother FLORENCE EDNA ARMSTRONG of WATERTOWN, NY 3/12/1924 and had 3 daus -
THELMA, ROSE MARY (my mother), PATRICIA. Married names in order WEST, SWEET, REICHE.
If anyone can help, please e-me at DeborahSweet@msn.com or respond at this forum. DESPERATE!!! Thanks
