I have my grandmother's notes which are very difficult to read. Do you have all of the pages on Jarrell's from book, "Caldwell Parish in Slices"? My grandmother's grandfather was first child of Martha Mc Daniel Jarrell. She was married to a Smith and had son, James Madison Smith. After Smith died she married S.H. Jarrell and came to Caldwell Parish as his bride in 1854. From her notes I have Theodore as first son of Martha and Samuel, Theodore moved to Richland Parish and is buried in Rayville. I have a picture of his son Tom Jarrell. I also have some old tin types of James Madison Smith with several other men, possibly half-brothers Jarrell. I began looking last week for a picture of the old Jarrell home. There are some here in town. I will send the pages from the Caldwell Parish book to your home email if you would like to look at them. Thank you, Rebecca
