Edith Bernard m Texada&Conner, 1894-1995

I am looking for information on my great grandmother's family. Her maiden name was Mary Edith Bernard (1894-1995). She married Willison Gordon Texada, and later married a Conner.

Her obituary says that she was a native of Abbeville, LA, which is in Vermillion Parish. She lived most of her life in Calcasieu Parish, however, and is buried in Lake Charles.

One of her children told me that her parents were Polite and Onesia Bernard and that they were from "down east" Louisiana. Does anyone recognize this family?
