David, I found this in the Lake Charles American Press archives. Hope this helps. Melanie Perry, SULPHUR — Ruby Little, 89, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a native of Bonita, La., and was a longtime resident of the Hackberry, Carlyss, and Sulphur areas. She was an expert master seamstress and also enjoyed quilting and spending time outside planting flowers. Ruby was a wonderful cook and looked forward to preparing meals for family gatherings. She was past matron for Order of the Eastern Star Love Chapter 209. Survivors include two daughters, Patsy L. Trahan and husband Robert L. Trahan Jr. of Choupique and Pauline Soape of Vinton; two sons, Jerry Little and wife Judi of Sulphur and William R. “Billy Bob” Little and wife Connie of Franklin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Augusta Goodrich, Grace Zachery and Lula Mae Guidry; one brother, Grover Cleveland Russel Jr.; and a grandson, Casey Soape. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Monday.
