Son of George Dolphus Gilley -
Looking for date/place of death info for Thomas Gilley, born 1848 Dale Co, AL, son of George Dolphus Gilley and Pheriba Davis.
Looking for ANY LEADS for date/place of death information on Elizabeth Burnett Gilley (wife of Thomas).
I've lost Elizabeth after the 1900 Wharton Tx Census. (last name listed as Gelie)
I pick Thomas back up (widowed) in 1910 with youngest son Charles in Bexar County, TX.
1920 Bexar County, Thomas is living with next to youngest child (Nolia Gilley Darby - my grandmother).
1925 - Nolia Gilley Darby and her husband/children, move to Houston Texas.
1930 Census, Nolia Gilley Darby (misspelled on census as Barby) is in houston with husband and children, but Thomas Gilley is no longer listed.
I figure he passed in Bexar County between 1920 and 1925 when daughter Nolia moved away.
