Sure hope I can get help with my husband's BERRYs. His grandfather George W. BERRY (b. ca 1854 LA) was married twice, first to Annie E. SPIDLE. They lived in/near Nacogdoches, TX. Had three children: Rufus, William and Suddie. Annie and Suddie died, circumstances unknown. He m. Cora Alma PETTEY around 1907. They lived in Teneha, TX, where he operated a hotel the Berry House. Two daughters were born: Mary Sue (originally Sudie, the "second") and Omie. After 1920, George and Alma separated. Alma moved to Nacogdoches with the two girls. Evidently George did, too, and operated a hamburger stand. George ended up living in Crocket, TX, and eventually moved to the Dallas area to live with his son William (married to Blanche ______; two children). Interesting that Will told the kids by the second marriage that he would take in Dad *if* they quit contacting him! Sure hope all this data helps to find some cousins. I'm having a heck of a time finding George's parents.
