Need information on Carlton Midkiff and his wife, Sarah Jane Donaho Midkiff.
They are on the 1860 Calcasieu Parish, LA cenus as Carlton 24 born in LA, Sarah Jane 22 born in TX one child, Eliza 6 months old born LA.
It is believed Carlton died in the CW as Sarah moved to Madison County, TX with her family and married there in 1863.
Any information is appreciated and will gladly share/exchange.
