Geo Seborn BERRY 1918

I am trying to locate information on my husband's great uncle,
George Seborn BERRY, b.05Oct.1884 in Navarro Co. TX
d. 1927 unknown.
The only records that I have for him are the 1900 Navarro Co. TX census, were he is still living with his parents, Seborn Green BERRY & Sarah Diane WARD BERRY, and his WWI registration card dated Sept. 12,1918, also from Navarro Co. TX, showing that he is a Oil Well Driller and works for " A R Bett???" in Shreveport, Caddo, LA. I am unable to make out the spelling of the name of the company.
It could be Betted, Bettiel, Betticl. The A R and the first 4 letters of the last name are very clear, but can not make out the last 2 or 3 letters.
I have checked my library here in Houston, for city directories of Shreveport, but we do not have any. Also have not found any at Ancestry.com, so do they exist?
I have not been able to find his death in TX, so maybe he died in LA, but I can't find any record of him on the 1910 or 1920 census in either state.
