Mary: I have some of the THOMAS family you are looking for. Not much but some. Cassie THOMAS married Seaborn Hamilton YOUNG, son of William "Uncle Billy" YOUNG. The YOUNG's were fro Twiggs Co. Ga. then to Barbour Co. Ala. YOUNG is my line. I believe this THOMAS family was William Martin THOMAS. They came to Bossier Parish La. before the Civil War from Barbour Co. Ala.
have Jackson THOMAS operated a sawmill in Lafayette Co. Arkansas on "Soldier's Ridge".
The THOMAS family came to Bossier Parish with the YOUNG's, HEATH's, McKINNEY's, BOUND's, LOTT's & others.
