What happened to Levi Head, born 1856 in Arkansas, in 1860 living with mother Jane A. Head, widow of William Capel Head, in Bellview, Bossier Parish, LA,and siblings John Chambers, Martha J. and Eliza Head? By 1880 Levi was in the household of Charley Nowell, new husband of Jane Head, and mother Jane in Bossier, LA. Other siblings of Levi were William R., J. D. and Martha Jane Head. Jane and first husband William Capel Head and family had moved from Elbert Co., GA after the 1850 census and apparently lived in Arkansas for a period before William Capel Head died before the 1860 census. William Capel Head was the son of William Head and 2nd wife Sarah Blake Hall of Elbert Co. Sarah Blake (1770-1848) had first been married to William Hall. My email
