looking for Chitwood in 1860

Looking for James O. Chitwood in the Bienville Parish probably Castor area in 1860. He was married to Catherine Dove and had three children when he joined Co.I, Castor Guards 16th Regiment, La. Volunteer Infantry on the 29th of September 1861. In 1862 he died in TN and in 1866 Catherine and three children are listed in http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~labienvi/oldnews.htm Aug 4 1866, Vol.1 No.42 Names mentioned in minutes of police jury meeting.

I am interested in communicating with anyone who might have any info about this family.
