She died circa 1970 in Simsboro, Louisiana. She never married and lived with her mother and sister. The Gay family I am interested in came from Wetumpka Elmore County Alabama. All of Birdie's siblings were born in Wetumpka. I have no idea why she was born in Ringgold but that is how it is recorded in my cousin's family Bible. If you do have any information, please respond.
