To answer my own question, I have received a copy of the marriage record from the Archdiocese of New Orlenas which states that Laurent Bordelon married Anne Francoise Roland on 20 Feb 1730 in the St. Louis Cathedral.
I have also received an e-mail from the Diocese of Baton Rouge that they checked the film and in one case Ann Francoise was named as the wife on Nicholas Bordelon and in the second record as the wife of "Bordelon".
The problem could lie in the fact that they were French and perhaps the person who recorded the info was some other nationality and there there was a communication problem.
But I do have the record from the Archdio of N.O., and for that,I am thankful.
