In the 1870 census for Rapides Parish, page 224 (hand written upper left corner) are: Family #1895:
Snoddy, Joshua 25 farm laborer
Elizabeth 26
Alice 9
Alma 7

These girls are obviously BOTH daus of Elizabeth Maxwell and Dennis W. Smith who were married in Avoyelles Parish on 8 Nov 1859. I knew Alice had to be because she was my gr. g.m. who was married to Alcie (Alcice) Laborde. I have Alice's death cert. in which Denis Smith and Elizabeth Maxwell are listed as her parents. (Her name was actually Mary Alice.)

At the 1870 census, Alma was 7 yrs old so she had to have been the child of Dennis and Elizabeth too because Elizabeth Maxwell married Joshua Snoddy on Aug 31, 1865 and Alma who was 7 in 1870 and would have been born in 1863, making her 2 yrs old when Elizabeth and Joshua got married.

So you and I are cousins.

I'm sorry I don't have info on any of the other people you mentioned.
