Hello Gladys,

I wish it were that simple. I am actually looking for someone that might have a copy of the church minutes.
My gggrandparents, Randall Bettison Eldred and Nancy Virginia O'Neal Eldred, as well as other family had letters of dismission from the church.
Randall and Nancy were also members at the Grand Chenier
Baptist Church prior to Dec. 1857. Do you know where this church is located? They were members of the Spring Hill Baptist Church in Rapides Parish. It appears
they went back and forth.
There may be family buried at the cemetery. Surnames would be Eldred, O'Neal, Tanner, Bennett and some I have not connected with yet.
I appreciate your interest and kindness.
Pat
