Hi Keith.

I checked Father Hebert's Southwest LA Records. There were 2 Marcelite Richards mentioned. It's likely that one of them is yours:

RICHARD, Marcelite (Alfred & Marie Irene ROY) b. 17 Dec. 1871 (CP Ch.: v. 4, p. 38)

RICHARD, Marie Marcelite (Simion & Coralie DELAHOUSSAYE) b. 4 Dec. 1881 (CP Ch.: v. 4, p. 132)

Your other likely alternative is to find Marcelite's death certificate. This should tell you the names of her parents, to the best knowledge of the informant.

Happy Hunting!
Karen
