Marlene,

I didn't find anything for 1860, 70 or 90, or in Acadia Parish for that matter:( Is there a possibility that she was somewhere else other than Acadia Parish? I did find a Caroline Mathews, age 28, born in Germany, living in the household of James and Elizabeth Bradly. It was in the 1850 Louisana Census for St. Tammany Parish, page 274. Unfortunately, the census taker did not note the township. I hope this helps you.
