You may want to look for a copy (interlibrary loan...) of the late Fr. Donald J. Hebert's book, "L'Eglise du Marais Bouleur, 1872-1991, History of the Catholic Church of Marais Bouleur, Mire, Louisiana" (Rayne, La.: Hebert Publications, 1991). I have a Xerox of part of the index covering the ALLEMAN FAMILY, and I note several listings for the names **Adelphelia Alleman** and **Adolphina Alleman**.

PS: I descend from Louis Homer Allemand (c1837/1839-1931), my gr-gr-grandfather.
