Mary Kysor of Wood County, West Virginia
My maternal great-grandmother was Mary Kysor Yoho. She died in 1919, at the age of 31-33, of the Spanish influenza. Her name on the tombstone is spelled K-Y-S-O-R, and I believe she is buried at a place called Bogle Ridge, in a beautiful small church cemetery not far from Mineral Wells, Wood County, West Virginia, near Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. Her father was John Kysor, who lived nearby on Limestone Hill.John had a lumber mill on his farm.I do not know her mother's name or her siblings' names.
Mary was married to Peter Yoho of Mineral Wells, my great-grandfather, and Peter was born on April 27, 1883, and died on August 4, 1967.Peter and Mary's children were:
Gladys Marie Yoho (married name Longwell - my grandmother)
William Yoho
Charles Yoho
Wallace Yoho
Ernest Theo Yoho
Gladys, my grandmother, died at the age of 21 on May 27, 1928, in Mineral Wells. My mother's name was Mary Grethel Longwell.Mother was born on April 12, 1925, and died on December 5, 1978.
I know nothing about the Kysors in my family.Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
Tim
