William Kyle - Royal Scots Greys

Hi

I am researching my wife's g-gradfather William Kyle. He died in WW1 in 1917. He married in York in april or May 1914 to Charlotte Carr and they had a daughter a couple of months later. He is shown in July 1914 on the birth cert as a Private in the Royal Scots Greys so would have been a regular as hostilities in Europe did not start until August 1914.

Charlotte was York born and bred but I can find nothing about William. Any connections would be appreciated
