This is a request and a correction for an earlier post of mine:
I am searching for any info on the parents/line of my great-grandfather, Dr. John Fleming Rodgers (1827--1902). He served in the 11th Ky Cav (U.S.) in Civil War with the rank of Major as an Asst-Surgeon. His second wife was Sarah Isabel Williams, known as "Belle", who later married a Mr. Glass. They had three kids; (1.) Lea Rodgers -m-Mr. Hawkins, ( 2.) Emma Rodgers-m-Mr. Thom. Blackerby, and (3.) Lester Rodgers-m-Maude Janet White (my grandparents). I am not sure who the first wife was, possibley a Margaret E. Pattie. Dr. Rodgers was supposed
to be from Versailles/Frankfurt area of Ky, but his son Lester was born in Indiana and then grew up in Ky. Lester had some cousins in Indiana also. Dr. Rodgers might have been from Ky and went to Indiana and back
to Ky, or vica-virsa.
Any info on Dr. Rodgers would be greatly appreciated.
