Harrietta: Although I do not have solid documentation, I strongly believe that my gggrandfather, William J.H. Mosby, is the son of Edward Mosby, brother of Robert Claiborne Mosby. Edward Mosby and Sarah Jones Elliott had eleven children before moving from Woodford Co., KY to Dubois Co., IN around 1824, and Dubois Co. court records support these claims. All of their children have been accounted for except William who is mentioned in Dubois Co. court records as living in another state. If anyone has documentation showing otherwise I would love to hear from them.

William J.H. Mosby b. 1808 in Woodford Co., KY married Lucinda Searce 11 Nov 1833. Their children are Lucy Ann Mosby, Albert Mosby, Sarah C. Mosby, Mildred Mosby, Robert E. Mosby, Susan Mosby and Mary Mosby, all born in Woodford Co., KY. - JSMjr
