Old Captain GARRETT is dead - land divided to his sons ROBERT and JAMES.
JOSEPH HUMPHREYS is dead. So is his father JO ,Widow live on farm
BILLY BROWN (slave)
not been to PEKIN for twelve month
JOHN FISHER & GAM PATERSON - made additions
OLIVER KING has returned from the rebel army
HENRY KING died in MS
JOHN LEMASTER has been in the Rebal army-right arm taken off
(the following are his children I think)
JAMES is a great big boy
JOHN LIZZIE & HOSTIS?
NANIE and children send love
