My David H. Harris m Margaret Peters 1818 and lived and raised their family in Versailles, Ky where they are both buried in Versailles Cemetery. I have David's ancestry lineage back to mid 1700's Virginia.

David H. Harris, b Apr 1, 1786 Orange Co., Va, d 1847
Margaret (Peters) Harris b 25 Feb 1789, d 13 Oct 1856 (descendent of the Peters & Ashby families--of which her gr grandfather was Col John Ashby, Fauquier Co., Va)

Children of David H & Margaret Harris:
William Peters Harris, b 17 Aug 1820
Frances Ann Harris b 3 Dec 1822 m Frederick Hartje 1845
Margaret Linsy Harris b 1825, d 1826
Ann Maria Harris b 1 May 1828 m Charles W. Foushee 1850
David Doddridge Harris b 8 Sep 1831 m Mary E. Fletcher l857

Specifically interested in David Doddridge Harris's wife Mary E. Fletcher--looking for her Fletcher family and/or her mother's Quinton family there in Woodford County.

Other family names that might be associated with David H. Harris' migration from Orange Co., Va to Woodford Co. around 1818: Walker, Wright, Hunter, Gardner, McGhee, Payne.
