Thanks for the response. I, too, have found that some Whitley County residents died in nearby Campbell Co., TN. As for the ones I am currently looking for, though, no such luck. I have also looked in other counties, surrounding states (and even some a bit farther afield), etc... but no luck there either. I suppose it can only be that they just were not filed. But I have found quite a few earlier death certificates for this same family and it just seems odd to me that they suddenly began neglecting to record their family deaths during the 1920s.
