Betty I am unsure of connection but I have a group of sisters who were Permelia Matthew Morgan b 1861, Sarah Francis Elizabeth Morgan b 1860 and Sophia Morgan b 1876. Their Father was supposed to be "Lem" Morgan. We think it was Matthew Lemuel Morgan but aren't sure yet. Sarah Francis listed her birth county on one census as Clay County but there is no record of any of these Morgans ever being in Clay County. I feel that she could have misunderstood and been refering to Clay the town in Webster County which adjoins Crittenden County where I next find them. If any of this information looks familure please let me know.
