Janet, I found an entry at FamilySearch.org that said that Charlotte (Lottie) LOVELACE married a Thomas Ballou DODSON in 1885 in Wayne Co., KY. I could not find any other reference to their marriage.
At Ancestry.com, I found a family tree that named a son for the above couple - George Wesley DODSON.
I then checked back on the 1900 Wayne Co., KY Census and found this record -

At Ancestry.com, I found a marriage of George Wesley DODSON to Lillie Bell ANDERSON on 30 April 1922 in Slavens, Wayne co., KY. George was born 29 Nov 1893 in Slavens, KY and died 17 Oct 1989 in McCreary Co., KY.
