I am looking for proof of the parents of John Burk(e) born 1766 - 1848 who married Effie Bodine. Some website show his father as John Burk 1738 who married Mary Kendrick and some show his father as John Burk born 1732 married to a McComas woman. Can anyone give me proof either way as to who the father of John Burk 1766 - 1848 was??
