It has been quite a while since you posted this so I hope your email is still good. I have followed my Prices from MD and VA to Wayne County, KY and on to Hardin Co. TN and now, apparently, to Lauderdale County, AL. I know part of my Prices went to IL from Hardin County in 1862. I found Wilson Whitsett and his family in the 1850 Lauderdale County, District One Census. Living with him was Benjamin Price, age 65 and Jane Eliza Price, age 63. They lived quite near my ggg-grandmother Rachel Price. Her husband Martin A. Price disappeared between the 1840 and 1850 census. I am trying to get a connection between Martin A. Price born 1799 in Kentucky and Benjamin Price born 1785 in Kentucky and living close together in the 1850 census of Lauderdale County, AL. It seems too much to be a coincidence. I have a pretty extensive Simpson genealogy that was shared by a friend in AL. I will be happy to share information.
